Double Exposure

“My DPI results and processes demonstrate a clear development of ideas from the initial stage to the final outcome. The work shows effort in experimenting with different layouts, techniques, and compositions throughout the process. However, further refinement in presentation and consistency would help strengthen the overall quality of the final design.”     Task 2 : Photo Manipulation 1.Started the artwork by cutting the flower heads       2. Added cotton pads and decided to apply some shade         3. Finalized the work by adding leaves to add more realism

Typography - Practical Task: Exercises

“My sketches were accepted, but there are still several areas that need improvement. The concept has potential, however the composition and typography arrangement should be refined further. For the next stage, focus on digitalising the work neatly and improving the overall balance, readability, and presentation to create a stronger final outcome.”

Typography - Feedback of my works

Feedback from Lecturer During the consultation session, my initial typographic explorations were rejected as the compositions relied too much on decorative ideas rather than expressing the meaning through typography itself. The lecturer advised me to focus more on experimentation with letterforms, spacing, composition, hierarchy, and visual balance instead of adding unnecessary graphical elements. I was also encouraged to: - produce a larger variety of thumbnail sketches - explore more dynamic arrangements - improve the relationship between form and meaning - avoid overly literal or illustrative approaches - push the typography further through distortion, scaling, rotation, and spacing Based on the feedback received, I decided to restart my sketch explorations and develop stronger concepts that communicate the words more effectively using typography alone Here are some of my artworks:
