KHAITOV ISMOILDZHON(0394242) Final Type Expressions   For this week's Type Expression exercise, I was tasked with interpreting four words — Smile, Balance, Radiant, and Free — using different typefaces and visual design elements to communicate each word's meaning beyond just the letter forms themselves. Through this exercise, I began to understand how different fonts carry their own emotional weight. For example, using Futura Std Book Oblique for 'Smile' felt appropriate because its clean, geometric yet slightly slanted form gives it a light and friendly quality. Adobe Caslon Pro Bold for 'Balance' reinforced the concept through its strong, structured serif letter forms paired with symmetrical vertical bars that visually echo the idea of equilibrium. For 'Radiant', New Baskerville Std Italic brought an elegance and warmth that matched the word's meaning, framed within a bowtie shape that suggests light expanding outward.
